Amy Romans is a professional artist born and raised in Orange County, California. Worked for leading arts and entertainment organizations such as Walt Disney Productions, ABC Studios, Disneyland Resort Display Department and Disney Cruise Line.

Currently the CEO of Amy Romans Concept Designs Studio  in Orange County, California and the Executive Council of Concept Design and Creative Development for the Science and History Museum in Fort Worth, Texas which re-opened in November 2009.  

Amy started with the Museum in 2005.  She is a member of the beginning creative team who helped design and create the new Science and History Museum in Fort Worth, Tx.  She  excels in Concept Design and Creative Development. She is a visionary who creates above and beyond guests expectations.

-Developed the initial concept for the Innovation Studio Hands-On learning spaces; designed all Studio interior spaces in working with the Legorreta + Legorreta architectural team.

-Developed the interior design for visual merchandising in the retail store.

-Developed the concept design for Sports Exhibit, Champions!

-Developed the concept design for Air Park exhibit. A Hands-On interactive experience that looks at forces that make flight possible. 

-Developed concept design for the 9/11 Exhibit, the largest beam received by a Texas museum from the New York Port Authority.

-Designed the environmental Pyramid and Titantic Ship facade in the Museum Atrium for the traveliing exhibits. 

-Developed concept design for entire Holiday Visual presentation program for the museum’s interior and exterior area including an outdoor interactive Caterpillar  kinetic light show.  

-Developed, designed and produced the museum’s annual Mad Scientist Ball  including all environmental and entertainment elements.

-Oversees all visual aspects of the museum’s public presentations.

-Directs installations of all exhibits lighting within the museum.

-Represents museum’s interests in all museum design related conferences.

SMEC. (Science Museum Exhibit Collaborative): contributor for future exhibits. Nationwide Science Museums working together to create exhibits.
